Azza Abo Rebieh, born in Hama in 1980, is a Syrian artist and printmaker who graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Damascus University in 2002. Specializing in printmaking, her thesis project earned recognition at the Ostrobothnian Museum’s Youth Engravers Competition in Finland. Abo Rebieh’s work, primarily monochrome prints created through engraving on copper plates, reflects the influence of the great printmaker Goya, who used his art to reach wider audiences during Spain's revolution.

Abo Rebieh's art has been showcased in numerous cities worldwide, including Damascus, Beirut, Paris, Rome, Istanbul, London, and New York. Her work is held in prestigious collections, including The British Museum, which acquired three of her etchings in 2014. She has received several awards, such as first prize in the Annual Youth Exhibition in Damascus in 2006.

In addition to her artistic achievements, Abo Rebieh is also known for her activism. She was detained in the Adra prison in Damascus due to her art and activism, sharing a cell with 30 other women. Her experiences and work have been featured in exhibitions at venues like the Drawing Center in New York and 392 Rmeil 393 Gallery in Beirut. The artist is currently based in Beirut.
