Iman Toufaily, born in Lebanon in 1969, is a multidisciplinary artist with a Master’s degree in Plastic Arts from the Lebanese University. Her work primarily engages with themes of subjectivity, urban space, and personal experience, often reflecting the social and environmental landscapes of Lebanon.

Toufaily’s artistic practice spans painting, mixed media, and collage. Known for her exploration of material interplay, she integrates photo collage, textile, and intricate threading to create layered compositions that evoke the complex relations of identity and space. Her System series, 2022, which won critical acclaim, exemplifies her interest in structural synthesis within urban contexts, while her Corona series captures the psychological impact of the pandemic on Lebanon’s healthcare sector.

Her work has been exhibited in notable local and international venues, including Escape Gallery, Beirut, FormeFemine Online Gallery, Berlin and Lagos, Bloom Gallery, Valencia, and Zico House, Beirut. She has also been recognized for her contributions to art, winning first place in the 2022 International Women's Day Art Competition organized by the UNDP and the Canadian government.

Toufaily continues her practice in Beirut, with recent works such as In a Wood 1 and 2, 2024, where she reinterprets the Lebanese backwoods through a lens of social and environmental consciousness​.
