Bio
Wassim Al Saadi, born in 1974 in Damascus to a Palestinian refugee family residing in Syria. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in engineering in 1998 and attended a postgraduade diploma in 2004 from Damascus University. His quest for knowledge extended to the University of Wales, where he earned a master’s degree in project management in 2009.
Al Saadi's professional trajectory encompassed nearly fifteen years in the oil and gas sector, where he assumed various roles within multinational corporations until 2014. Transitioning from corporate to humanitarian endeavors, he redirected his focus towards aiding refugees, operating across regions such as Lebanon, Ukraine, and Iraq.
In early 2021, Al Saadi delved into the exploration of language structure, particularly its correlation with the visual arts, redirecting his efforts towards researching the form of language of thought and its intersection with plastic art.
