Marc Guiragossian was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1995. The grandson of renowned painter Paul Guiragossian, Marc, was exposed to art at a very young age. In 2016 he had his first, highly successful solo exhibition at Mark Hachem Gallery in Beirut. Subsequently, the artist moved to Berlin to further enhance his artistic skills and also has a studio in London. Guiragossian mostly paints figurative portraits. Dominant, clashing colors overlap amid linear forms and unified backgrounds. Though his technique is spontaneous and impulsive, his aggressive brushstrokes combined with his figurative shapes and intense colors convey an overall harmony in his compositions. The artist is currently based in Berlin.
