Age of Terror: Hanaa Malallah on how conflict has influenced her work

Hanaa Malallah lived through multiple conflicts in Iraq - as a young artist, she experienced the Iran-Iraq War and presented her first solo show in the wake of the First Gulf War.
After the 2003 invasion and violence that ensued, she left Iraq but says her experiences continue to shape her as an artist.
Her work My Country Map is being shown at IWM London as part of Age Of Terror: Art since 9/11.
